Adore Me - Lashes & Lingerie Challenge

Hello ladies! Today’s post is all about the Lashes & Lingerie Challenge by Adore Me which is a popular New York based lingerie company. I was shown some of their latest spring/summer offerings and asked to create a look inspired by one of their gorgeous pieces. This cute denim and lace piece caught my eye. Who says casual can’t be sexy? Everyone needs a blue in their wardrobe to cool off this summer plus denim never goes out of style. The delicate lace adds feminine grace and a flirty touch.

To rock this piece effortlessly, I created an intense grey eye with earthy tones and a winged liner, giving the feline effect. I decided on a denim blue lower lash line, further defined by smokey black, which added mystery to the eyes. The lengthening mascara gave long sweeping lashes for an alluring final look. I chose a rich nude lip colour to balance out the drama of the eyes and a similar blush. For a youthful glowing complexion, a subtle highlighter is essential preferably with a dewy foundation.

Products Used

Luscious HD Mineral foundation in Ivory
Makeup Revolution eye primer - Matte
BH Cosmetics 120 colour palette - 5th edition
Beauty UK Simply Define eye brow pencil - Ash brown
Essence gel liner- Midnight in Paris
Luscious kohl cream liner - Black Onyx
Colour Studio Pro kohl pencil - Blue Steel
Catrice Lashes to Kill False Lashes Volume Mascara with lengthening fibres
Colour Studio Pro Colour rush lipstick - Desire

Tumbling loose waves would definitely look beautiful with this piece as this is a hot summer trend and appears more natural. Comfortable footwear like strappy sandals in neutral colours are both practical and appealing for this look. It is best not to go overboard as the makeup is dramatic enough and keep accessorizing to a minimum. Perhaps a small pair of sparkling silver and blue earrings would be best to accentuate the blue of the eyes.

So, there you go! That was my inspiration from this adorable bit of lace and denim. I hope you found it different and enjoyable.

What kind of look would you choose for this piece?
